We have tried to write this the way we would want to read it. If any of it is unclear, email hello@broadbridge.co.uk and we will explain it properly.
Who we are
This website is run by Michael Broadbridge, trading as Broadbridge Group. Broadbridge Group is a trading name used to represent a family owned portfolio of separate businesses. It is not itself a registered company, and it does not take payments or sell anything.
For anything to do with this policy or your data, contact hello@broadbridge.co.uk. Our service address is available on request.
What this site collects
Very little. It is a static brochure site. There are no contact forms, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It sets no cookies.
The only way it passes anything to us is if you choose to click an email link and write to us. Then we get whatever you put in the email.
What the host logs
Our web host keeps short lived technical logs that include your IP address, the page requested, the time, and basic browser information. Standard access logs, kept for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them for tracking or analytics.
How we use what you email us
Only to reply to you, and to carry on a conversation you started. Our legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We do not sell data, we do not hand it to advertisers, and we do not pass it on for marketing. The only third parties who might touch it are our email provider, and a regulator or law enforcement if we were legally required.
How long we keep it
As long as we reasonably need it for the reason you sent it, plus a sensible archive period for tax and business records, usually up to six years. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
- Access. Ask what we hold about you.
- Rectify. Ask us to correct anything wrong.
- Erase. Ask us to delete it, subject to any legal retention we are stuck with.
- Restrict or object. Limit how we use it, or object to us using it at all.
- Portability. Ask for it in a common electronic format.
Email us to do any of these. We will come back within a month.
Complaints
Tell us first so we can try to fix it. If that does not work, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change anything significant we will update the date at the top and, where we sensibly can, tell the people affected.
