Who we are
This website (broadbridge.co.uk) is operated by Michael Broadbridge, trading as Broadbridge Group. Broadbridge Group is an unincorporated trading name used to represent a family-owned portfolio of separate businesses. It is not itself a registered company and does not process payments or sell products or services.

What this site collects
Very little. This website is a static brochure site. It contains no contact forms, no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking technologies. It sets no cookies.
The only way the site passes personal data to us is if you choose to click an email link (for example our hello@ address) and send us a message. In that case we receive whatever information you chose to include in the email.
What our hosting provider logs
Our web host may keep short-lived technical server logs that include your IP address, the page you requested, the date and time, and basic browser information. These are standard access logs kept for security and troubleshooting, and are not used by us for tracking or analytics.
How we use the information you email us
If you email us, we use your message and any personal information it contains solely to respond to you and, where relevant, to continue a business conversation you have initiated.
Our legal basis for holding this information is our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and running our business correspondence, under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not pass it on to any third party for marketing. The only third parties who might technically come into contact with your message are our email provider (which stores and delivers the email) and, in unusual circumstances, a regulator or law enforcement body if legally required.
How long we keep it
We keep email correspondence for as long as we reasonably need it for the purpose you sent it, plus a sensible archive period for tax, legal and business-record reasons (typically up to six years). You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access — ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify — ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Erase — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restrict or object — limit how we use your data, or object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability — ask for your data in a common electronic format.
To exercise any of these, email us. We'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can try to fix it. If we can't resolve it, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top and, where we reasonably can, let affected people know by email.
